Director’s Corner: Wonderful Retreat Weekend!
This past weekend (Nov 4-6) we hosted our annual fall retreat at Pettijohn Springs Christian Camp. It was a rousing success as usual and we were blessed with a earthquake to top it all off! Yep, we were there minding our own business when around 10:30pm we all felt the earth move. There were various responses to it, of course; some thought Jesus had come and were sorely disappointed. Are we willing to be different? I see young people trying to be different than their parents and end up all being the same in the process. If I have to see one more person's underwear fro baggy pants, I will go nuts. Not conforming to the world will really make you stand out. Not always in a good way. Why are we afraid to do that?
